Austral Thrush
Turdus falcklandii

The Austral Thrush inhabits southern South American forests, scrublands, farms, and urban gardens. It forages mainly on the ground for insects, earthworms, berries, and fallen fruit, often flicking leaf litter aside with its bill. Its clear, varied song is a familiar sound in its range, and it may aggressively chase intruders near a nest.
