Giraffe Stag Beetle
Prosopocoilus girafa

Adult giraffe stag beetles inhabit humid tropical forests, often visiting tree wounds for sap and feeding on soft fruit. Males use their exceptionally long mandibles to wrestle rival males from feeding and breeding sites. Despite their imposing jaws, adults are chiefly sap-feeders rather than predators.
