Strawberry Dottyback
Pictichromis porphyrea
The adult Strawberry Dottyback lives close to coral reefs and rocky crevices in warm tropical seas. It is an active, territorial hunter that takes small crustaceans, worms, and other tiny animals. Despite its small size, it can vigorously defend a chosen hiding place from intruding fish.
