Longsnout Seahorse
Hippocampus reidi

Adult longsnout seahorses inhabit seagrass meadows, mangroves, coral rubble, and other sheltered coastal habitats. They remain upright while anchored by the tail, ambushing tiny shrimp and other crustaceans with a fast suction strike. Males carry developing young in a brood pouch until they are released.
