Pygmy Seahorse
Hippocampus bargibanti

Adult pygmy seahorses live among gorgonian sea fans on tropical Indo-Pacific reefs, commonly at moderate depths. They remain anchored to coral branches and ambush passing copepods and other tiny crustaceans with a fast suction strike. Their knobby skin and coloration closely match their coral hosts, making them exceptionally difficult to spot.
