Glass Anemone Shrimp
Ancylocaris brevicarpalis
Adult glass anemone shrimp live among the tentacles of sea anemones and in sheltered coral-reef crevices. They feed on small invertebrates, organic scraps, and food caught around their host. Their remarkably transparent bodies conceal them against the reef and among anemone tentacles.
