Hairy Mushroom Anemone
Rhodactis indosinensis

Adults inhabit warm Indo-Pacific coral reefs, commonly growing on rock or among coral rubble in well-lit shallows. Their broad, textured discs use stinging tentacles to seize plankton and small drifting prey, while symbiotic algae provide additional energy. Despite its anemone-like appearance, this animal is a corallimorph rather than a true sea anemone.
