Marsh Tit
Poecile palustris

The Marsh Tit occupies deciduous woodland, mature hedgerows, and well-treed gardens across much of Europe and western Asia. It searches bark, twigs, and leaf litter for insects and spiders, while also eating seeds and nuts outside the breeding season. This active bird commonly caches food in crevices for later use. Its black cap and bib closely resemble those of the Willow Tit, but its call and habitat preferences help distinguish it.
