Buff-Tip
Phalera bucephala
Adult buff-tip moths inhabit woodland edges, hedgerows, gardens, and other areas with broad-leaved trees. They fly mainly at night and may visit flowers for nectar. By day, they rest with their wings folded tightly, their markings closely resembling a snapped piece of birch twig.
