Ross's Goose
Anser rossii

Ross's Goose breeds on Arctic tundra near wetlands, then migrates south to marshes, lakes, and agricultural fields. It grazes on grasses, sedges, roots, and waste grain, often feeding in shallow water or on open ground. This small white goose is distinguished from the similar Snow Goose by its shorter bill, sometimes marked with tiny dark bristles around the base.
