Donovan's Tiger Moth
Aloa marginata
The adult moth inhabits warm open woodland, scrub, and cultivated areas, resting by day and becoming active after dusk. Adults visit flowers for nectar while searching for mates and suitable host plants. Its bold tiger-moth pattern can make a resting insect difficult to overlook, serving as a warning to would-be predators.
