Giant Stag Beetle
Serrognathus titanus
Adult giant stag beetles inhabit tropical forests, where they shelter on trunks and among leaf litter by day. They feed mainly on tree sap and juices from ripe fruit, while males use their enlarged jaws to wrestle rivals. Despite their heavy build, adults can fly and are often drawn to lights at night.
