Leaf-footed Bug
Acanthocephala declivis
Adults inhabit woodland margins, gardens, and scrubby vegetation, where they perch among host plants. They feed by piercing stems, fruits, and seeds with a long beak and drinking plant fluids. The adults fly readily, and the widened, leaf-like sections of their hind legs give this group its common name.
