Aphid Lion
Nineta flava
The adult lacewing lives around trees, hedges, and flowering vegetation, flying between foliage with delicate net-veined wings. Unlike the larva, it chiefly feeds on honeydew, nectar, and pollen. Females lay their eggs on thin stalks, helping keep newly hatched larvae apart from one another.
