Rafinesque's Big-eared Bat
Corynorhinus rafinesquii

Adults inhabit bottomland hardwood forests and roost in hollow trees, caves, bridges, and old buildings. They emerge at night to catch moths, beetles, and other insects, often gleaning prey from leaves and surfaces. Their enormous ears help them detect faint sounds and use echolocation while hunting in darkness.
