Sneak Spider
Harpactea hombergi

The Sneak Spider lives in leaf litter, beneath stones, and in other sheltered ground-level places across parts of Europe. Mostly active at night, it roams rather than building a prey-catching web, using its long fangs to seize small invertebrates such as woodlice and other spiders. Its flattened body helps it slip into narrow crevices and hide from both prey and predators.
