Lemur Leaf Frog
Agalychnis lemur
Adult lemur leaf frogs inhabit cool, wet cloud forests in Central America, resting on leaves and shrubs by day. At night they hunt insects and other small invertebrates with sudden leaps and sticky-tongued strikes. Their variable green, brown, or cream coloration and tucked resting posture provide exceptionally effective camouflage.
