Sayaca Tanager
Thraupis sayaca

The Sayaca Tanager lives in open woodland, forest edges, gardens, and city parks in much of eastern and central South America. It forages actively among branches for fruits, berries, nectar, and insects. Its blue-gray plumage is shared by both sexes, making males and females difficult to tell apart at a glance. This adaptable bird readily uses planted trees and urban green spaces.
