Weatherfish
Misgurnus fossilis

Adult weatherfish live in sluggish rivers, ponds, marshes, and muddy ditches with soft bottoms. They search the sediment for insect larvae, worms, crustaceans, and other small prey, often becoming active at dusk. They can gulp air and absorb oxygen through their gut, allowing them to survive in poorly oxygenated water; changes in air pressure can make them unusually restless.
