Anthony's Poison Arrow Frog
Epipedobates anthonyi

Adults inhabit seasonally dry tropical forest, especially humid pockets around streams, rocks, and leaf litter. They actively hunt ants, mites, termites, and other small arthropods during the day. Males give sharp calls to advertise territories and attract mates. Their conspicuous coloring warns predators of toxic alkaloids concentrated in the skin from their diet.
