Fivestripe wrasse
Thalassoma quinquevittatum
Adult fivestripe wrasses inhabit clear tropical coral reefs and adjacent rocky areas. They actively patrol the reef by day, feeding on small crustaceans, mollusks, and other bottom-dwelling invertebrates. Like many wrasses, they can rapidly change coloration during growth and social interactions.
