Chindongo demasoni
Adult demasoni cichlids inhabit rocky shorelines and reefs in Lake Malawi, where they weave through narrow crevices. They scrape algae from rock surfaces and also take small invertebrates. Males vigorously defend small feeding territories, using fin displays and short chases to repel rivals.
