Green Vine Snake
Ahaetulla nasuta
Green Vine Snakes inhabit trees, bushes, and dense vegetation across South and Southeast Asia. They hunt by relying on camouflage and sharp binocular vision, taking lizards, frogs, and occasionally small birds. When threatened, they may flatten the body, reveal contrasting skin between the scales, and hold a striking pose with their pointed snout aimed forward.
