Indian Mud Moray
Gymnothorax tile

Indian mud morays inhabit muddy coastal shallows, estuaries, and sheltered reef-associated waters. They ambush fishes and crustaceans from concealed holes or soft-bottom cover, seizing prey with sharp jaws. Like other morays, they often hold their mouths open to pump water across their gills rather than as a threat display.
