Pigeon Tick
Argas reflexus

Adult pigeon ticks live in protected crevices of dovecotes, attics, and buildings used by nesting pigeons. They feed rapidly at night, swelling greatly with blood before retreating to shelter for long periods. Adults can survive for years without feeding and may irritate or transmit pathogens among their bird hosts.
