Roadside Sallow
Metaxaglaea viatica
The adult Roadside Sallow is a nocturnal moth of grassy roadsides, fields, and disturbed open ground. It flies after dark and visits flowers for nectar, while resting quietly in vegetation during daylight. Its subdued brown-and-yellow wings provide effective camouflage when folded against bark or dry grass.
