Hamadryas Baboon
Papio hamadryas

Hamadryas baboons inhabit arid savannas, cliffs, and rocky hills in northeastern Africa and Arabia. They forage on grasses, roots, seeds, fruit, insects, and occasionally small animals, using powerful hands and jaws to handle tough food. Adult males are especially imposing, with long silvery shoulder hair and large canine teeth used in threat displays and fights.
