Slender-legged Camel Cricket
Ceuthophilus gracilipes
The adult slender-legged camel cricket occupies moist forests, caves, and other dark sheltered places. It forages at night on fungi, plant material, carrion, and small invertebrates. Despite its cricket name, it is wingless and uses its exceptionally long legs for powerful leaps away from threats.
