Whitetail Dascyllus
Dascyllus aruanus

The adult whitetail dascyllus inhabits branching corals on clear Indo-Pacific reefs. It feeds mainly on drifting zooplankton, while also picking at algae and other small food around its coral shelter. Adults can be fiercely territorial, rushing and biting intruders that approach their chosen coral colony.
