Senegalese Cobra
Naja senegalensis

The Senegalese cobra inhabits savanna, dry woodland, rocky ground, and farms across parts of West Africa. It is an active hunter that feeds chiefly on rodents, lizards, amphibians, and other small vertebrates. When disturbed, it raises the front of its body, spreads its hood, and delivers venom through a rapid bite if escape is not possible.
