Barbary Sheep
Ammotragus lervia

Barbary sheep inhabit arid mountains, rocky canyons, and desert slopes in North Africa. They browse grasses, herbs, leaves, and shrubs, using their agility to travel across steep terrain. Both sexes bear curved horns, and their long throat and chest hair gives adults a distinctive shaggy silhouette.
