Greater Spot-nosed Monkey
Cercopithecus nictitans

The greater spot-nosed monkey inhabits humid lowland forests, swamp forests, and wooded river edges in central and western Africa. It moves nimbly through the middle and upper canopy, feeding on fruit, insects, leaves, and small invertebrates. Adults are recognized by the conspicuous pale patch on the nose and use varied calls to stay in contact through dense vegetation.
