Malayan Horned Frog
Megophrys nasuta
This frog rests among deep leaf litter on the floor of humid Southeast Asian rainforests. It waits motionlessly for insects, spiders, and other small animals before lunging with its wide mouth. Pointed eyelid projections and leaf-like colouring make the adult remarkably difficult to spot.
