African Cotton Leafworm
Spodoptera littoralis

The adult African cotton leafworm is a nocturnal moth found around croplands, grasslands, gardens, and other vegetated habitats. Adults fly after dusk, visiting flowers for nectar and seeking suitable host plants on which to lay eggs. Females can lay large clusters of eggs, allowing populations to build quickly where food plants are abundant.
