Greater Mouse-Eared Bat
Myotis myotis

Greater mouse-eared bats roost in caves, mines, buildings, and underground shelters across parts of Europe. They emerge at night to hunt large ground-dwelling insects, especially beetles, often snatching prey from the ground or low vegetation. Although capable of echolocation, they can also use the sounds made by crawling prey to pinpoint a meal.
