Crab-eating Raccoon
Procyon cancrivorus

Crab-eating raccoons inhabit wooded wetlands, riverbanks, mangroves, and savannas across much of Central and South America. Mostly active at night, they search shorelines and shallow water for crabs, frogs, fish, insects, fruit, and eggs. Sensitive front paws let them locate and handle prey in murky water, and the animal is a capable climber and swimmer.
