Lesser Asiatic Yellow House Bat
Scotophilus kuhlii
The Lesser Asiatic Yellow House Bat roosts in buildings, rock crevices, and tree hollows across warm parts of Asia. It emerges after dusk to catch flying insects such as moths, beetles, and mosquitoes. Rapid echolocation calls help it navigate in darkness and locate tiny prey in flight.
