Black-chest Shrimp-goby
Amblyeleotris guttata

Adults inhabit sandy areas of coral reefs and lagoons, usually near a shared burrow. They hover watchfully above the entrance, snapping up tiny crustaceans and other drifting prey. A notable mutualism pairs the goby with an alpheid shrimp: the goby warns of danger while the shrimp maintains the burrow.
