Rosy Rustic
Hydraecia micacea

The adult Rosy Rustic moth inhabits wetlands, rough grassland, field margins, and gardens with suitable host plants. It is mainly active after dark, visiting flowers for nectar and seeking vegetation on which to lay eggs. Its muted rosy-brown forewings help it blend into bark, dead leaves, and dry plant stems while resting by day.
