Corsac Fox
Vulpes corsac
Corsac foxes inhabit dry grasslands, steppes, and semi-deserts across Central Asia. Mostly active at dusk and night, they hunt rodents, insects, birds, and other small animals, while also eating fruit when available. They often shelter in burrows dug by other animals rather than excavating their own. Their large ears help them locate prey beneath sparse vegetation or snow.
