Silver Key Anole
Anolis scriptus
The Silver Key Anole occupies sunlit scrub, rocky ground, and tree trunks across its island habitat in the Bahamas. It actively stalks insects, spiders, and other small invertebrates, making quick lunges from cover. Males use an extending throat fan and posture displays to defend territories and attract mates.
