Green-rumped Parrotlet
Forpus passerinus

Green-rumped Parrotlets inhabit savannas, gallery forests, scrub, and cultivated areas across northern South America. They forage for grass seeds, fruits, buds, and other plant material, often feeding in small mobile groups. Adults fly swiftly between trees and nest in cavities. Males are recognizable by the vivid blue patches on their wings and rump.
