Sohal Surgeonfish
Acanthurus sohal

Adult sohal surgeonfish inhabit clear, shallow coral reefs in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden. They spend much of the day grazing turf algae and vigorously defend feeding territories from other fish. A sharp, scalpel-like spine on each side of the tail base can be used to slash at threats or rivals.
