Guenee's Emerald
Chlorocoma dichloraria

This delicate emerald moth flies through deciduous woodland, hedgerows, and well-vegetated gardens, chiefly after dark. Adults rest flat against leaves and stems by day, while their green wings provide useful concealment. The caterpillars feed on foliage, whereas adults may visit flowers for nectar; the bright wing colour commonly fades as the moth ages.
