Midas Blenny
Ecsenius midas
Adult Midas blennies live on tropical coral reefs, usually close to holes and crevices used as refuges. They spend much of the day perching and grazing algae from rock and coral surfaces with comb-like teeth. Although small, an adult can defend a favored shelter with bold displays and rapid dashes at intruders.
