Indian Mudskipper

Pseudogobiopsis oligactis

Indian Mudskipper

Adults live along muddy estuarine bottoms and in calm, brackish channels. They feed on small crustaceans, worms, insect larvae, and other tiny animals found near the substrate. Like other gobies, they can rest on the bottom using their paired fins rather than swimming continuously.
