Egyptian Mouthbrooder
Pseudocrenilabrus multicolor

Adults inhabit vegetated shallows, marshes, and sluggish freshwater channels in northeastern Africa. They hunt small aquatic invertebrates, insect larvae, and other tiny animals, often picking prey from cover. Females carry their eggs and young in their mouths, protecting the brood until the fry are able to forage.
