Tope Shark Juvenile
Galeorhinus galeus (juvenile)

Juvenile tope sharks inhabit temperate coastal waters, including sheltered bays, estuaries, and shallow nursery areas. They actively swim in search of small fishes, crustaceans, squid, and other available prey. Their slender bodies and sharp teeth suit them to quick pursuit and biting attacks. Like adults, they were born live after developing from yolk-supported embryos inside the mother.
