Rock Gunnel
Pholis gunnellus

Rock gunnels live along cold rocky coasts, slipping through seaweed, crevices, and pools left by the tide. They hunt small crustaceans, molluscs, worms, and fish eggs with quick bites. This eel-like fish can tolerate low-oxygen tide pools and may remain hidden beneath wet stones when water recedes.
