Bee Beetle
Trichius fasciatus
The adult bee beetle visits sunny woodland edges, meadows, and clearings where flowering plants are abundant. It feeds mainly on pollen and nectar, often climbing over blossoms in search of food. Its hairy body and bold yellow-and-black pattern give it a striking bee-like appearance, though it is a harmless flower chafer.
